Tonight, and currently on-going, Warren Haynes is performing a special symphonic tribute to the late great Jerry Garcia at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. While Haynes has played a handful of these performances earlier in the summer, tonight’s has special significance for a number of reasons. Aside from today being Garcia’s birthday, the show also marks the first time ever that Garcia’s guitar Tiger was used in a public performance since the Grateful Dead member’s death.
